Dear Gantha Members,
Just thought I’d mention a few points I’m not clear about and feel we should clarify during our meeting on Saturday(21 August 2021).
I. About the writers /Topics
a. Are we looking at writers writing in English as well as in Bangla? (the question comes up since we’re talking of translation.)
b. Or only writers writing in Bangla,
II. If b (only writers in Bangla), are we looking at:
a. ALL (obviously female) writers writing in Bangla
b. well known writers only
c. marginal writers only
III. We also need to get some sort of commitment as to who will be submitting work – just to have a tentative number
1V. Tentative deadlines.
