April(Notice)
Dear friends
Thank you all for attending the March Meeting when we celebrated the golden jubilee of Independent Bangladesh along with the birth centenary of Banhggabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman.
I would now like to invite you to attend our next meeting on17th April at 11 amin the morning since it is Radamdan. We have divided the program in two parts. First we will celebrate Pohela Boishakh. Then we will have a reception for Jharna Rahman on being the recipient of Ananya Shahitya Puroskar (1427)bangla.
I would like you to send in names if you want to participate in anything by 7th April. One could recite poems, read extract or sing for pohela boishakh. And I would like to invite someone to talk about Jharna Rahman’s work. I want to read from one of her stories that I translated if time permits.
